You are my brother,
even if your eyes cannot see this truth.
Our differences
Provide perspectives and abilities
to solve problems.
our similarities can unite us.

Yet in spite of this cachexia,
hope and beauty draw breath.
For how long, no one knows.
Thus far, ours has been a resilient world-
an amazing place.
It is worth saving.    It is worth effort.

Stand with me my brother.
Stand tall and stand often.
Stand till the world is no longer
wicked but wonderous.
You are my brother...
            now be my friend.
